VIM received a request to support evangelism efforts in Nigeria alongside medical clinics. As the State Departments recommends against travel to several areas of Nigeria at this time, VIM sent medicines and other needed items to Nigeria. Following are a few photos the devoted missionaries and pastors and the people with whom they shared the gospel and love of God through medical clinics. Feeding the soul is certainly a route to full health. Medical clinics are a blessing to the physical body while the gospel heals the soul and elevates the spirit. Pray for all Christians and innocent non-Christians as Nigeria navigates religious and social terrorism.

Over the 35 years that VIM has existed, relationships have been the foundation of our ability to send mission teams around the world and to provide items to 3rd world countries. The following photos show medical supplies which are headed to Sudan, Africa and bicycles headed to Sierra Leone in West Africa.

VIM accepts durable medical equipment, medical supplies, bicycles and other durable goods to distribute to our contacts who fill 20' and 40' containers. Many of these goods are donated to non-profit organizations in those countries and some of the goods are sold in marketplaces where folks can earn money to support their families. A lot has been going on and time to post has escaped me. Here are photos of relief efforts by Pastor Rey and Alma Angana in the Philippines after the magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit General Santos City on June 8. They have made multiple 10-hour (one way) trips to that city to deliver food, water, supplies and tents to those who lost their homes in the aftermath of the quake.

Donation are being accepted to support their efforts. A small team will travel in November to General Santos City to aid the Angana's in the ongoing efforts. Folks will be without structures for a long period due to the devastation.

Consider supporting the La Gonave Haiti Mission on the small island of La Gonave in Haiti. VIM has been involved with this mission when it started as an orphanage and through to this period when it serves the entire community while helping the last of the orphans to finish high school and get jobs. They host weekend kids camps every Saturday, feeding, loving on them, preaching and guiding them to Kingdom life. The food is fabulous and a great night out for $20 per person.
