Summer camp is a pretty amazing place!! We had a ton of incredible experiences and met some fantastic people along the way!!! Thanks for the memories June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation! We had a great time with Cub Country - J.N. Webster Scout Reservation invading base camp for the Cub Scout overnight week!!

⛵️ July was a SPLASH for Manchester Cub Scout Pack 47! ⛵️

Last month, Pack 47 met at our new home at Assumption Church, with our new chartering organization, St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish. We’re so excited about this new adventure together!

And what better way to celebrate than with our Rain Gutter Regatta! ⛵️ 💨 Our Cub Scouts put their boat-building and blowing skills to the test as they raced their boats down the gutters!

We had a fantastic time and can’t wait for what’s ahead!

🌟 Next up: We’re excited for our community service event coming up this week! Our Scouts are ready to roll up their sleeves, lend a hand, and show what it means to be a good neighbor. 💙

In June, our Cub Scout Pack had our last activity at Concordia. We are incredibly thankful for the support that they have provided for the last several years as our chartering organization! And while we we had an abrupt end to the Rocket Rally due to fast moving rain, at the end of the night we were gifted with a double rainbow!! 🚀 🌧️ 🌈

We look forward to our upcoming July Rain Gutter Regatta with our new chartering organization, Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish! ⛵️

Congratulations to Ellie, a Bear Cub from Cub Scout Pack 47 Manchester, CT, for receiving the Mark Greer Medal this week!

Named in honor of the long time President of the Middlesex County Council Mark Greer. This medal is awarded to a Cub Country Camper who consistently does “Does their Best” over the course of the week and is recognized as stand out among their peers just as that Mark Greer was in the Scouting Community in the 1960s.

Reminder: There are still 4 weeks left of day camp at JNW for anyone that wants to sign up to join in on the fun!!

A couple of our Pack 47 Bear Cubs are at camp this week and they got to check out a life star helicopter today! How cool is that?!?
Scout camp IS the BEST camp!!

Last Thursday, our pack conducted its rank advancement ceremony. Congratulations are in order for our new Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and AOL dens! We are proud of your achievements and are excited to continue supporting your scouting journey!!

Our lion den recently visited Highland Park Market, where they received a store tour and learned all about where food comes from for each department! Thank you to Highland Park Market for supporting Scouting adventures!!!
