You may practice your presentation in front of a bunch of soft toys in the hope that you do well at that critical client meeting. You may rehearse in you mind what you are going to say to your boss to get the promotion and hope that it i

s persuasive. You may practice how to discuss that conflict with your colleague standing in front of a mirror hoping that she does not get hurt. OR you can join Toastmasters! You cannot master communication and leadership skills by practicing a few times a year. If you want to be ready to SHINE in any situation, you have to keep your skills up to date. And like anything else that requires constant learning and conscious growth. At Toastmasters of Manchester you can learn new techniques, practice those, and unlike anywhere else, get the feedback from your peers on what you did well and what will make your pitch even better the next time. It is a friendly and supportive environment where you are encouraged to make mistakes so that you don't have to pay for it when it matters the most. We have FUN while doing it. We are a cohesive group of accomplished professionals who care about personal growth. We have engineers, lawyers, teachers, entrepreneurs, salespeople, and homemakers. But we share a common thread - willingness to learn and grow. We are a local chapter in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA.
