The Manchester Community Resource Center, better known as MCRC, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency. Since then, MCRC has gained a reputation for meeting the needs of the community through innovative program development and specialized services. MCRC is certified through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Community Based Development Organization. Our services revolve around supporti

ng individuals to attain economic self sufficiency and to improve their standard of living. Our programs and services are designed to increase accessibility to employment, education, and information. MCRC is located in the old Odd Fellows Hall at the corner of Lake Ave and Hall St. in Manchester, NH. The building has been meticulously renovated and returned to its original beauty. We are dedicated to maintaining a welcoming and multicultural environment. 🌳 You may have seen us around the city this summer…

If you've noticed a group of high school students working in Manchester's city parks, picking up litter, maintaining outdoor spaces, and helping keep our community looking its best, you've probably seen our Summer Youth Employment Program in action!

But there's much more to the program than what happens outside. ☀️

Our teens are gaining real-world work experience while learning about:
💼 Workplace professionalism and work ethic
💰 Financial literacy and budgeting
🤝 Teamwork and communication
🎯 Goal setting and career planning
📝 Resume building and interviewing
🎓 Education and career opportunities

They're learning what it means to show up, work hard, take responsibility, work as a team, and be someone others can count on.

We're incredibly proud of the effort these young people are putting in this summer—and we're excited to share some of what they've been up to!
