A great big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came out today for our Community Cemetery Clean-Up.

If you couldn't make it today there's always more that can be done at the cemetery any day that works for you.

Thank you to Franny's Cup & Saucer for providing coffee and muffins and thank you to the Manchester Grange for arranging the day.

A special longest commute recognition goes to Audrey and her family that came all the way from San Francisco! And the shortest commute award goes to Kat and Nahuel who walked across the street from their home.

Sorry we didn't get pictures of everybody today but you know who you are and you are appreciated!

Please come out and pitch in at our annual Community Cemetery Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 9th starting at 9:00am. The Evergreen Cemetery is located on the corner of Hwy 1 and Mountainview Road in Manchester.

Bring your lawn mower, w**d wacker, chainsaw, rake, or whatever gardening tools you have.

Stop by our information table and see what we have learned about our historic cemetery or share what you know.

This event is sponsored by the Manchester Grange and FREE coffee, water, and breakfast snacks will be provided by Franny's Cup and Saucer.

A great big THANK YOU to Tom Minch for cleaning up the fallen limb at the cemetery!!! With people like Tom pitching in, we'll keep fighting mother nature as she tries to overtake portions of our historic cemetery.

A large limb came down near, but fortunately not on, the iconic Davis Family Angle statue in the cemetery. If you have a large chainsaw, and would be willing to pitch in, please leave comment here. Let's see if we can pull together a little work party to clean this thing up.

It's a great time of year to visit the Evergreen Cemetery. The Naked Lady Lillies are starting to bloom.

FREE... I guess...

Somebody dumped this inside the front entrance of the cemetery. It appears to be some kind of mounted animal feeder that rotates in and out.

Maybe you could use it or maybe you can recycle the metal. In any case, pick it up and it's yours.
