Manchester Community College Foundation Since 1968, MCC Foundation has supported the college's strategic initiatives via funding for student scholarships, college programs, and equipment.

The MCC Foundation plays an instrumental role in ensuring the college’s doors are open to the community. We are ambassadors for the college and seek to share our understanding of the pivotal role MCC plays in our region. CT State Manchester kicked off the fall semester today with a full day of learning, conversation and connection at Fall 2026 Convocation.

From campus updates and an engaging keynote to faculty perspectives on AI in the classroom, it was a great opportunity to reconnect and look ahead to the new academic year.

And after a full day of big ideas, what better way to wrap things up than with Chet’s Italian Ice! 🍧

MCC Foundation was happy to help add a little something extra to the day, providing the morning coffee and tea bar and supporting the afternoon Italian ice treat.

Last week, the MCC Foundation hosted a special summer lunch at the "other" MCC — Manchester Country Club! 💙 🍽️

Longtime donors and current and former Board members joined MCC Foundation Executive Director Dr. Michelle Helmin and Board President Dr. Bethany Silver for an afternoon of good food, great conversation, and connection.

And we found a little Manchester pride at the other MCC, too! We were delighted to meet Adam and Aaron, two MCC/CT State Manchester alumni working at The Hollow.

A wonderful afternoon celebrating friendships, shared history, and the women whose generosity and involvement continue to strengthen the MCC Foundation and our community.

🎓 Commencement may be over — but our students' needs don't end when the semester does.

All summer long, the MCC Foundation's Cougar Pantry and Student Emergency Fund help CT State Manchester students facing unexpected challenges like food insecurity, transportation costs, utility bills, and emergency expenses.

Today is the final day of our fiscal year, and there's still time to make a difference.

A gift made before midnight will help ensure that a temporary hardship doesn't become a permanent barrier to earning a college degree.
