Prayers for a Leslie County Sheriff's Deputy who was shot, in the line of duty, early this morning. 🙏

He is being treated at the University of Kentucky Medical Center after being airlifted.

Our prayers are with the Leslie County Sheriff's Office, friends and the family of the injured Deputy.

Shortly before 2 am this morning two subjects made entry through a hole in the outer and inner walls of our Fire Station. If anyone has any information in regards to who these subjects are or the damages done to the Station, please contact either Clay County Dispatch or the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

HCFD responded with Manchester and Lockards Creek Fire Departments to assist with a two vehicle car accident.

Richland is one of our neighboring Departments and while we don't get to work with them often they are always a great group of people to work with on scene. Our hearts and prayers go out to the driver, his family, friends, and Department.
