Congratulations to NHPA Student Board Member, Meghan Hill, PharmD on receiving the New Hampshire Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Inc. and NHPA Student Excellence Award at the MCPHS School of Pharmacy- Worcester/Manchester 2026 Hooding and Awards Ceremony earlier this month.
Meghan has been an integral part of the Board for the past two years and contributed significantly to education and legislative initiatives. She will be missed, and we are excited for the next stage of her career!

SB 504 will be voted on by the full House on Thursday, May 14, and now is the time to contact your legislators and ask them to SUPPORT this important legislation.

SB 504 helps modernize New Hampshire pharmacy laws by:
• Updating pharmacy practice to reflect today’s healthcare environment
• Improving access to care, especially in rural communities through the Rural Health Transformation Act, which calls for an increased scope of practice for pharmacists. It is an key element of the Go North Initiative.
• Supporting continuity of care for patients
• Reducing unnecessary administrative burdens
• Aligning pharmacy regulations with other healthcare professions
A quick email or phone call can make a real difference in the future of pharmacy practice in New Hampshire.

This is a moment in time. The opportunity to pass this bill may not come again. Please call at least one Representative.

⏰URGENT! We need your help to support SB 504 as it is heard in Committee in the House!

You are encouraged to take a moment to support Senate Bill 504, an important bill that helps modernize and update New Hampshire’s pharmacy laws. SB 504 streamlines the legal definition of pharmacy practice, enables more flexible patient care aligned with modern technology, aligns pharmacy regulations with other healthcare professions, and reduces unnecessary administrative burdens for pharmacists.

The bill will be heard April 15, 2026 at 1:10pm in the House Executive Departments and Administration Committee, and pharmacy professionals across the state are encouraged to make their voices heard by signing in to support the bill ahead of the hearing.
