Women Visionaries of Middle Tennessee

The goal is to be a non-profit organization to support and encourage diversity and disadvantage women to take a step to becoming an entrepreneur in our county. The aim is to increase household income and improve living conditions in the region. The program will be hands on and will have intelligent local mentors that will assist with the challenges that the new business owners could face during the first five years of operation. The organization is in the beginning stage to raise funds and find a home in Manchester, TN. The facility would need to be able to hold at least 10 businesses that will need nurturing to grow and develop. The organization will also help members that are not in the facility. We want to stress to the community to shop local with small business owners. The organization will be looking for board members in the future to make sure the organization stays strong. Board members will need to have experience in Financing or loan business processing, Grant writing, Commercial Law, Real Estate, Marketing, and Business concepts. Please, do not solicit offers or coupons of your business on this page. The correct way is to say “I am Betty and I am the owner of the hair salon (plug the name) off Hwy 55”. Solicitation clogs up the discussion board and conversations will be misplaced. This page is to help encourage and seek business women to be involved in the process. Brainstorming is welcome!
