Our School Donation Drive is still underway!

The Social Action Committee is collecting donations to support the Highland Park Elementary School community.

Items that can be donated:
• Small backpacks with or without characters (if it has a loop or hook on the top, even better)
• New underwear for both boys and girls (child-sized Small to Extra-Large)
• Children’s Pants: Sweatpants or leggings (sizes 5 to 14/16). Neutral colors preferred

These donations can be brought to the synagogue and left in the bin outside the office.

BSBI's Brotherhood Members joined in on the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs New England Retreat this past weekend.

The New England Region 2026 Retreat is organized by the New England Region of FJMC International, welcoming men primarily from throughout New England includingConnecticut. The Retreat caters to men with the full gamut of Jewish involvement. It is the first and oldest weekend retreat for Jewish men.

The Social Action Committee has been approved to become a faith-based partner with Manchester Public Schools to support the Highland Park Elementary School community. To support this partnership we are looking for donations.

Happy Pride Month from Beth Sholom B’nai Israel!

Beth Sholom B’nai Israel is proud to be a welcoming community space. We welcome all people regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, family, financial status, nationality, age, physical or mental ability. Interfaith families are always welcome.

We will be participating in the town of Manchester’s first Pride festival on Sunday, June 14th at North United Methodist Church, 300 Parker St, Manchester, CT 06042. The event runs from 10:00am - 2:00pm, and Rabbi Daniel will be leading a drumming circle at 11:00am. Rabbi would love to have more drummers in his circle, please email him if you are interested at [email protected].

Earlier in May, we were joined by the incredible Jacob's Ladder, who brought us an evening of lively performance and great energy. They even worked with our Religious School students on a song they could sing together.
