Manchester N.A.A.C.P. Unit# 2069 The Manchester, NH Branch was founded in 1964.

The mission of the Manchester Chapter of the NAACP is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons. The NAACP was founded by an in*******al group of prominent citizens in 1909, in New York City, as a response to increasing violence against Black people in all parts o

f the country. Few Americans today understand the extent of institutional racism in the early years of the 20th century in America. NAACP continues to struggle against all forms of discrimination and unfair treatment whether social, legal or political.
