Big things are coming for the new school year! 🎉

Our CCHS Interact Club is teaming up with BETA and other student organizations to kick off fundraising efforts as they prepare to take on exciting new service projects that will truly “Create a Lasting Impact.”

Now’s the perfect time to clean out those closets, classrooms, storage rooms, and office corners! If you have gently used items you no longer need, please consider donating them to our Interact Garage Sale. Every donation helps support student-led projects that make a difference in our school and community.

It was wonderful to see the Coffee County and Tullahoma High School Interact Clubs, along with Rotarians, come together in service to their schools!

These dedicated students spent time working side by side on Saturday cleaning up the high school grounds, showing that teamwork, leadership, and service above self can make a real difference. From picking up litter to helping beautify the campus, their hard work and positive attitudes were inspiring to everyone involved.

We are so proud of these young leaders for setting an example of community pride and collaboration. The future is bright with students like these leading the way! 🌎♻️

We enjoyed hearing from Austin Graf, owner of the Mossy Pot Flower Shop, at this week’s meeting! 🌿💐

Austin shared his inspiring journey of leaving the corporate world to return home and invest in serving his local community through his beautiful flower shop business. His passion for creating stunning floral arrangements and offering unique live plants was evident in every story and display he shared. He also grows many of the flowers used in shop.

Be sure to check out the amazing arrangements and gorgeous live plants at The Mossy Pot; a wonderful local small business bringing beauty and joy to our community! 🌸🪴

The Rotary wheel is more than just a logo; it is a symbol recognized around the world for service, integrity, fellowship, and creating lasting change in our communities.

From local projects to global initiatives like polio eradication, the Rotary wheel represents people coming together to make a difference. Every spoke reminds us that service connects us all and that even small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.

We are proud to wear the Rotary wheel and even prouder to serve alongside dedicated members who live out the motto of “Service Above Self” every day.

May is Rotary’s Youth Service Month. It is a time to celebrate the impact we can make by investing in the next generation.

Our club is proud to support youth in meaningful, lasting ways. Through our Interact Club, we’re helping young leaders discover the power of service above self. By sponsoring students to attend RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), we’re equipping them with leadership skills, confidence, and lifelong connections.

We also believe in opening doors through education. Our scholarship program helps local students pursue their dreams, while our Dictionary Project puts essential learning tools directly into the hands of young learners. In addition, our donations of educational resources continue to support classrooms and inspire curiosity every day.

When we invest in youth, we invest in a brighter future for our entire community. 💙

Investing in the future starts with supporting those who dedicate their lives to serving others and this year’s scholarship recipients truly embody that spirit. We are proud to recognize two outstanding individuals whose career paths align closely with Rotary’s commitment to education, health, and community well-being.

Madysen Maze is pursuing a career in education, answering the call to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

Sarah Weaver is on the path to becoming a nurse, a profession rooted in care, service, and resilience. As healthcare needs continue to grow, her commitment will play a vital role in strengthening the health of our community.

These scholarships are more than financial support, they are an investment in leaders who will create lasting impact through service above self. We are honored to be a small part of their journey and look forward to all they will accomplish.

This week we heard from our local Recreation Center’s Activities Coordinator, Katie West. She informed us about all the fun and engaging opportunities planned for kids in our community this summer from camps and sports to creative activities that keep children active, learning, and connected.

We also appreciated the updates on the Rec Center and all the ways it continues to grow and serve families. It’s clear a lot of thought and effort is going into creating a safe, welcoming space for our youth to thrive.

Our Rotary Club was proud to support the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, an event that does more than bring our community together for a great day on the course. It directly aligns with Rotary’s commitment to supporting local economic development and strengthening the vitality of the places we call home.

By partnering with the Chamber, we are investing in opportunities that help local businesses grow, foster connections, and build a stronger, more resilient community. It’s always rewarding to see collaboration in action and to be part of something that creates lasting impact beyond the event itself.

Great golf, great fellowship, and an even greater purpose. This is what service above self looks like in our community.
