Sarah Ramsey Strong Fund The Sarah Ramsey Strong Fund is a non-profit organization built by Sarah’s family and friends.

The Sarah Ramsey Strong Fund, established in memory of Sarah Elizabeth Ramsey, supports Champlain College student scholarships and academic programs, and is focused on furthering innovation and entrepreneurship in the Burlington community and beyond. The annual Sarah Ramsey Strong 5K in Burlington raises funds for the Sarah Ramsey ’12 Strong Scholarship Fund at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, and provides resources in support of innovation and entrepreneurship.

In less than 2 weeks, we run for Sarah along one of her favorite spots, Lake Champlain's Burlington Bike Path. We are so grateful to everyone for helping us remember Sarah and celebrate her legacy! 12 Champlain student scholarships, 10 5K Races, a Sarah Ramsey iLab at Champlain College, and multiple programs to help students launch their startup businesses -- Sarah would be so proud of what we've accomplished together in her name.

On October 26, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Sarah Ramsey Strong 5K race 🏃‍♀️! Back in our early days, our wonderful friends raced with us in the pouring rain to honor Sarah's memory. Over the years, the Sarah Ramsey Strong Fund has awarded twelve Champlain College student scholarships, and funded student innovation and entrepreneurship programs at Champlain and the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Our work continues, thanks to your support! We invite you to walk or run with us in Burlington, or virtually from any location, on Sunday, October 26, 10 AM, Switchback Brewery.
