7‑Day Healing Devotional Series

“Healed in His Presence”

DAY 6 — Our Words Shape Our Healing

Opening Prayer

Father God Almighty who is in heaven, sanctify my speech today.

Scripture

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”— Proverbs 18:21

Devotion

Your words create the atmosphere your healing must live in.

Negative words:

“I’ll never get better.”

“This is just how I am.”

“Nothing ever changes.”

“I’m stuck like this.”

These words:

weaken faith

strengthen fear

increase stress

block emotional healing

create Nazareth‑like unbelief

Healing words:

“God is working in me.”

“Jesus is my Healer.”

“I receive restoration.”

“My breakthrough is coming.”

Your body hears your words.Your emotions respond to your words.Your spirit aligns with your words.

Reflection / Self‑Check

What harmful words have I spoken about my health?

What healing declarations do I need to speak today?

Am I creating an atmosphere of faith or fear?

Closing Prayer

Father God Almighty, cleanse my speech.Let my words agree with Your truth and Your healingin the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

DAY 5 — Healing Requires Obedience

Opening Prayer

Father God Almighty who is in heaven, give me a heart that obeys quickly.

Scripture

“Go, wash in the pool of Siloam.”— John 9:7

Devotion

The blind man in John 9 was not healed when Jesus applied mud.He was healed when he obeyed.

He had to:

🚶🚶walk while blind

👀👀 find the pool

💦💦 wash his face

👏👏 trust Jesus’ instruction

Healing often requires:

🪞movement

🪞action

🪞surrender

🪞participation

Obedience aligns us with God’s healing power.

Reflection / Self‑Check

What has God asked me to do that I have delayed?

What step of obedience could unlock healing?

Am I willing to obey even when I don’t understand?

Closing Prayer

Father God Almighty, give me courage to obey Your voice.Lead me into healing through obediencein the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

DAY 4 — Jesus Heals in Stages

Opening Prayer

Father God Almighty who is in heaven, help me trust Your process.

Scripture

“I see men like trees walking.”— Mark 8:24

Devotion

Mark 8 shows a two‑stage healing:

Jesus spit on the man’s eyes

The man received partial sight

Jesus touched him again

The man saw clearly

This proves:

Some healings are instant

Some healings are progressive

Some healings require multiple touches

Some healings involve process, not just power

John 9 also shows a process:

Jesus made mud

Applied it to the man’s eyes

Sent him to wash

Healing came after obedience

God often heals:

layer by layer

moment by moment

step by step

Reflection / Self‑Check

Am I frustrated because healing is not instant?

Where do I see partial progress that I have not celebrated?

What part of God’s process do I need to embrace?

Closing Prayer

Father God Almighty, help me trust Your timing.Complete the healing You have begun in me
in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

“Healed in His Presence”

DAY 3 — Jesus’ Healing Was Limited in His Hometown

Opening Prayer

Father God Almighty who is in heaven, teach me how my words and attitudes affect my healing.

Scripture

“He could not do any mighty work there… except heal a few sick people.”— Mark 6:5 (see Bible for full scripture)

Devotion

In Nazareth, Jesus’ healing ministry was limited—not because He lacked power, but because the people’s words and unbelief created a resistant atmosphere.

They said:

“Isn’t this the carpenter?”

“We know His family.”

“Who does He think He is?”

Their words:

➖minimized Jesus

➖dismissed His identity

➖rejected His authority

➖blocked their own healing

This is one of the strongest biblical examples that our words can hinder healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Healing requires:

✅ reverence

✅ faith

✅openness

✅agreement with God’s truth

Reflection / Self‑Check

What words have I spoken that limit what God can do?

Am I speaking faith or familiarity?

What atmosphere am I creating with my words?

Am I receiving the one God sends or because I know them causes doubt?

Closing Prayer

Father God Almighty, purify my words and attitudes.Remove unbelief and replace it with faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

A CALL TO HOLINESS IN THE LAST DAYS

A Child of God Crying Out to the Body of Christ and to the Lost

Brothers and sisters, we are living in the last days, and the Spirit of God is crying out for His people to return to holiness, repentance, and true surrender. This is not the hour for excuses. This is not the hour for compromise. This is the hour to stand as children of the Living God—washed, sanctified, and empowered by Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh, died for our sins, rose again, and is coming soon.

We must confess the truth:Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Living God.He is God in the flesh. He is Lord.He is Savior. He is King. And He is the One who delivers us from sin.

The apostles called Him God. The Scriptures declare Him God. And we must believe Him as God.

THE CHURCH MUST STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR SIN

Romans 10:9–12 tells us we must believe and confess Christ—but confession without transformation is not salvation. We cannot say, “I know my shortcomings,” and then refuse to seek God for deliverance. We cannot say, “I’m only human,” when the Holy Spirit lives inside us.We cannot say, “God can do anything,” and then deny His power to free us from lying, cussing, lust, bitterness, addiction, or any work of the flesh.

If we know the truth and refuse to obey it, the Word says it is sin.(James 4:17)

Sin is not supposed to have dominion over the children of God.(Romans 6:14)

Holiness is not optional.Holiness is the fruit of being born again.

THE GOD WE SERVE IS STILL A DELIVERER

We serve the God who can silence a mouth that curses you.We serve the God who can change the atmosphere when you walk into a room.We serve the God who gives you strength when you feel you cannot take another step.

He is the God who keeps us from falling and presents us faultless before His glory.(Jude 24)

He is the God who sanctifies, purifies, and transforms. He is the God who gives power, love, and a sound mind.(2 Timothy 1:7)

He is the God who places His Spirit inside us so we can live holy.

LOVE IS THE FIRST FRUIT OF HOLINESS

Jesus said love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who misuse you.(Matthew 5:43–48)

This is not human love. This is Spirit love—the fruit of the Only True and Living God.

There are four Greek expressions of love:

Storge — family affection

Philia — friendship love

Eros — romantic love

Agape — God’s unconditional, sacrificial love

Agape is the love poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.(1 Corinthians 13:4–8; Romans 5:5)

We cannot love others unless we love the Godhead—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We cannot love ourselves unless we surrender our lives to Christ. To live for instant gratification is to hate our own souls. To live surrendered to Christ is to choose eternal life.

HOLINESS BEGINS IN THE HOME

What better place to show you are sold out for God than in your home? Not just on Sunday. Not just on Wednesday. Not just when people are watching. But every day—good days, bad days, happy days, sad days.

If Christ is not visible in our homes, He is not ruling our hearts.

We must pray daily:

“Lord, let the fruit of the Spirit manifest in my life.Plant Your seed in good ground.Produce Your character in me.Teach me to put on Christ and keep Him on.”

A CALL TO THE CHURCH: REPENT AND REDEDICATE

Children of God, it is time to repent. It is time to rededicate. It is time to walk in holiness. It is time to stop conforming to the world. It is time to stop accepting what God rejects. It is time to stop putting Christ on the shelf.

We are the light of the world. We are the salt of the earth. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are ambassadors of Christ.

Let us return to holiness.Let us return to obedience.Let us return to the fear of the Lord.Let us return to the power of God.

A CALL TO THE LOST: COME TO JESUS TODAY

To the one who is broken…To the one who is tired…To the one who is bound…To the one who feels unworthy…To the one who thinks it’s too late…

Jesus Christ came in the flesh for you.

He died for you.He rose for you.He is calling you.

You can repent today. You can be forgiven today. You can be born again today. You can be made new today.

Romans 10 says:“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”

This is your moment. This is your invitation. This is your day of salvation.

Come to Jesus.Come to the One who loves you.Come to the One who can deliver you.Come to the One who can cleanse you.Come to the One who can give you eternal life.
