🌲The Manchester United Methodist Men’s Tree Lot season officially ended tonight with our traditional thank you steak dinner for all our volunteers for helping to make the 2025 season a success.

120 people gathered tonight for fellowship and a delicious meal. Our volunteers logged 2,942 hours of time on the lot, which resulted in another successful year.

The leadership team for the tree lot thanks you for your support and help this past season.

This page will take a pause until this fall as we get ready for the 2026 Tree Lot season.

🌲 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆! The tree lot opens for business at 9am. The lot hours will be Fri/Sat/Sun 9a-9p; Mon - Thurs 11a-8p. 🌲

All 1400+ trees are on the lot and we’re ready for Christmas Tree sales to start this Friday morning.
The tree lot is open ftom 9am-9pm on Friday thru Sunday and 11am-8pm on Monday thru Thursday.
We also have wreaths, swags, roping, ornaments, tree stands, and cook books for sale.

🌲 𝗔𝗟𝗟 of our trees arrived today and have been unloaded!!!

A huge shoutout and thank you to the 70 individuals that showed up to unload, sort, tag, and get the trees onto the racks.

We are ready for opening day this 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝟵 𝗮𝗺.

If you haven’t signed up for 1 or 2 shifts to work at the lot this season, we still need help on many shifts between this Friday morning and December 23rd.

🌲 All of the Christmas Trees we have ordered are loaded and heading our direction! If the drivers stay on schedule, all 3 trucks (plus the greens delivery) will be here 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭/𝟮𝟮. We would very much like to have your help to unload, stack and place price tags on these trees beginning at 𝟵:𝟬𝟬𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. Unloading should take less than 𝟮 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 for each truck, so unloading should conclude by midafternoon (~3:00pm). If you physically can't unload trees, please come and help with tagging the trees. A lunch of chili and pulled pork sandwiches will be served.

Parking is available south and west of the Tree Lot (14380 Manchester Rd) and can be accessed from Henry Ave, south of Manchester Rd. Please do not park in the business parking immediately east or west of the Tree Lot.

🌲Tree unloading information!

𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟯 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭/𝟮𝟮/𝟮𝟱. This ensures that we will receive our Trees well before the Lot opens on Friday 11/28, but it means that all the Trees will have to be unloaded and tagged in a single day. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝟵:𝟬𝟬𝗮𝗺. The other shipments are expected to have arrived on the Lot or will arrive during the day. A shipment takes approximately 𝟮 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 to unload. Therefore, we are looking at unloading all of the trucks over a period of 𝟱-𝟲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.

We will need a high level of support from you, our Tree Lot Volunteers, to accomplish the unloading of 3 trucks in a single day. If you can help unload one or more of the trucks, that would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to help for whatever period you are available. All levels and duration of effort will be readily accepted. If you can't unload trees, the trees must have price tags applied to them, so there is work for all levels of capability.

🌲 3 shipments of Christmas Trees are expected to be delivered to the Methodist Men's Christmas Tree Lot (14380 Manchester Rd) on either 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃 𝟮𝟮 or 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Volunteers will be needed to unload, stack and place price tags on these trees. Please plan to help unload the Trees. Even if you can't unload the trees, help is needed to place price tags on every tree. An email notice will be sent out confirming the date and time of the unloading as soon as it is confirmed by the trucker delivering the shipment. We will also post here.

When you come to unload the trees, parking is available to the south behind the Tree Lot and can be accessed from Henry Ave, south of Russel Wirth Ln. Please do not park on the Tree lot or on the parking lots of the businesses on the east or west side of the Tree Lot.

Sign up time for the Tree Lot is in full swing!
We’re less than 3 weeks from opening day and still have lots of available shifts to sign up for.
Remember, the lot opens on Friday November 28th and will be open EVERYDAY until 12/23 or all trees are sold.

🌲Scenes from tonight's MUMC Christmas Tree Lot kickoff chili dinner. 180 people showed up to hear about the lot, the missions it serves and eat a good bowl of chili. MUMC Fellowship Hall doors open at 𝟱:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺 with dinner being served at 𝟲:𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺

Please make plans to come join us and hear about last year's results, learn about what's new for 2025 and meet a representative of one of the groups supported by the Tree Lot.

This will also be an opportunity for you to sign up for the times that you wish to volunteer to work at this year's Tree Lot.
