Thanks again to the 25 teams that came out this Saturday for the first annual NH Co****le Classic at Akwa Marina Yacht Club. The sun was out, the bean bags were flying, and a healthy amount of money was raised for children with autism.

Today we dropped by to see our friends at The Granite YMCA in downtown Manchester to present this check to Doug Currier and Michele Sheppard. This CMF Kids partnership project will enhance pool accessibility and scholarship and training support for the adaptive Swim Angelfish program.

Because everyone should enjoy a swim!

Last week, we celebrated the 25-year work anniversary of Beth Vincent, who has been a fixture at McIntyre School Apartments in Whitefield, NH. Beth is a walking, talking encyclopedic resource for the residents who live there. A true legend of the community - thank you for everything Beth!

LilyPad Clinical Change & Advocacy LLC, located in Barrington, NH, is an inclusive environment designed to support children with autism with applied behavior analysis (ABA) as well as other preschool‑aged children from the community. LilyPad families receive support from Logan’s Giving Fund for Autism, which comes in the form of needed co‑pay support for clinical services.

We took a moment to speak with Allie Tompkins, M.S. Ed., BCBA, co-founder of LilyPad, who shared the impact of Logan’s Giving Fund on parents as well as the importance of creating a learning area that includes children of all abilities.

Last month, a cohort from Colebrook came together for Youth Mental Health First Aid training, a CMF Kids offering to strengthen supports in under-resourced communities. Training is led by our own Rebecca Cocco, who is credentialed by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing as a Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor. The training teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among youth ages 12–18.

We welcomed three families, school resource police officers, special education administrators, trauma response members, community advocates, paraprofessionals, teachers, bus drivers, special educators, and mental health professionals.
