🇺🇸 ALR 113 – Recognizing Our Amazing Community Supporters! 🇺🇸🏍️

Today, American Legion Riders Chapter 113 President Sam DeMao and Vice President Paul Brown had the honor of presenting Certificates of Appreciation to three outstanding local businesses:

👏 Georgetown Building Supply

👏 Georgetown Cafe

These businesses generously donated to our motorcycle charity ride benefiting Operation Troop Support, helping us make a difference in the lives of our active-duty military members and their families.

Events like ours wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of local businesses that step up to support our military community.

🏍️🍁 What a great day to be out on two wheels!

Today I joined fellow American Legion Riders Chapter 113 members Elden Hubisz and Eric Fisher for the Blue Reapers MC Boston’s 10th Annual Lumpy’s Fall Foliage Ride, supporting Toys for Tots! 🇺🇸

We kicked things off in Lincoln, MA, enjoyed some beautiful New England fall foliage along Route 2A, and made our way to the summit of Wachusett Mountain at 2,006 feet! ⛰️🍂

After taking in the views, we headed over to The Old Mill in Westminster for a great lunch and some laughs.

With approximately 135–150 miles of riding, beautiful scenery, great company, and a worthy cause, it doesn’t get much better than that!

Great roads, great friends, and making memories along the way! 🇺🇸🏍️

🇺🇸🏍️ ALR 113 Supports the 10th Annual Lumpy’s Fall Foliage Ride! 🍁

Today, American Legion Riders Chapter 113 Vice President Paul Brown, Road Captain Elden Hubisz, and member Eric Fisher hit the road to support the Blue Reapers MC Boston and their 10th Annual Lumpy’s Fall Foliage Ride, benefiting Toys for Tots! 🎁🇺🇸

The ride kicked off in Lincoln, MA, taking us along scenic Route 2A through the beautiful New England fall foliage before climbing to the summit of Wachusett Mountain, standing 2,006 feet above sea level! ⛰️🍂

After enjoying the incredible views from the summit, we made our way to The Old Mill in Westminster, MA, where we wrapped up the day with a great lunch, good conversation, and plenty of laughs!

🏍️ All told, we put approximately 135–150 miles on the bikes today, enjoying the fall colors, winding roads, and the camaraderie that makes riding together so special!

A fantastic day of riding, brotherhood, and supporting a great cause!

A big thank-you to the Blue Reapers MC Boston for organizing this event and bringing the motorcycle community together to support children during the holiday season.

Most Americans remember Jimmy Stewart for his legendary acting career and the Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life.

But did you know he was also a decorated World War II combat pilot?

Stewart served in the U.S. Army Air Forces, flying 20 combat missions over Europe in B-24 bombers.

He later continued serving in the Air Force Reserve, eventually achieving the rank of Brigadier General.

A new movie about Stewart’s life and military service is bringing renewed attention to this remarkable American.

For 251 years, the United States Navy has defended our freedom, protected our seas, and answered our nation’s call.

From the wooden warships of the Revolutionary War to today’s aircraft carriers, submarines, and destroyers, generations of American sailors have served with courage, honor, and commitment.

Today, American Legion Riders Chapter 113 proudly salutes all Navy veterans, active-duty sailors, and their families for their service and sacrifice.

— Iraq & Afghanistan Dog Tag Memorial 🇺🇸

This past weekend, the Iraq & Afghanistan Dog Tag Memorial was on display in Billerica, Massachusetts.

This powerful traveling memorial features over 7,000 dog tags, each representing a service member who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Global War on Terrorism.

Each dog tag represents a life, a family, and a sacrifice that must never be forgotten.

The American Legion Riders Chapter 113 extends our appreciation to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who helped bring this meaningful tribute to our community.

🇺🇸 25 Years Ago Today — Operation Enduring Freedom

On October 7, 2001, less than a month after the September 11 terrorist attacks, American forces began Operation Enduring Freedom.

U.S. Navy aircraft launched from USS Enterprise and USS Carl Vinson, while American ships and a submarine launched Tomahawk cruise missiles against targets in Afghanistan.

What followed would become America’s longest war and a defining chapter for an entire generation of service members and their families.

Today, 25 years later, we recognize every American who served, sacrificed and carried the burden of that war home with them.

To our Afghanistan veterans: your service will not be forgotten. 🇺🇸
