The Friends of the Manchester Public Library will be holding the 1st of 2 book collections on Saturday, June 13th from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM in the MERHS parking lot.

We are accepting gently used books in good condition to help stock our Annual Summer Book Sale. Proceeds from the sale support the Manchester Public Library and help fund programs, collections, and community initiatives throughout the year.

Pulling your boat out of storage soon .. take advantage of this great program!

Do you have a boat wrapped in shrink wrap, or know someone who does?

Good news! Seaside’s free Shrink Wrap Recycling Program is back. This program offers Cape Ann boaters a free and more sustainable way to dispose of used shrink wrap responsibly.
The recycling container will be available at the Gloucester DPW from May 4 through June 12 during business hours.

Boat owners are invited to drop off shrink wrap only, free of lumber and other debris.
