#2045 cool things I get to witness as a game store owner where we created a place for people to come hang out and call their space. Aiden (now, Sir Aiden of the Green Dragon) got his appointment time wrong so he had some time to come hang out at the shop waiting for his appointment. Others were already here painting or playing. Chris got some new magnetic fidget things in stock and had put some out for demos—which they all quickly turned into many shapes and one of them made a crown…which prompted our “Keeper of the Markets” store manager Darren to fetch one of the authentic forged swords we carry to knight Aiden to be a “Noble Knight—Seeker of Wares.” Just a small snippet of a life in the day…..

Lots of vacation families came in today due to the rain. This fam played several games from our Board Game Library. Another vacationing fam saw that rain is scheduled for Thursday and scheduled the private room for an RPG one shot adventure that day. Another fam painted miniatures together. We have lots to do to get out of the rain this week! Also, everyone should drop into Gathered & Made on Main St for a cozy/gorgeous atmosphere for hands on creativity fun more than you can imagine!

THIS was the highlight of my day. Most of these young men attended the Learn to Play two-day session with amazing Game Master Stryder. Today they were back to run an adventure on their own! I smiled to myself that the only screens all afternoon was the Game Master’s screen. Nostalgia hit me of watching my 5 kids growing up doing Role Playing Games around our kitchen table, the same table that now sits next to the register displaying family board games. (I had permission to take and post these photos.)
