We were deeply honored to have our Old Dominion Regiment Commander, Alvin Hendricks, join us as we awarded multiple awards to our outstanding Young Marines and Recruits during a special unit ceremony.
Here are the major milestones from the event:

• Unit Young Marine of the Year: Following our official selection board, we are proud to announce the selection of Sgt Miguel Ramos!
• Promotion & DEA Device Ceremony: A huge congratulations to YM/MSgt Lizbeth Cruz-Vasquez, who celebrated her well-deserved promotion and received the prestigious DEA Device Award.

An event like this doesn't happen without an incredible team behind the scenes. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff for all of their hard work in planning, organizing, and putting together all of our events. Your commitment ensures our youth have the structure and support they need to thrive.
Thank you, Commander Hendricks, for your leadership, and congratulations to every Young Marine and Recruit who earned ribbons, awards, and advancements!

Semper Fidelis! 🇺🇸

Honor, community, and teamwork in action!

The Manassas Young Marines had the distinct pleasure of participating in the 40th Annual Youth For Tomorrow County Fair. Our Young Marines were incredibly proud to assist in collecting the United States Flag after it was flown into the event by a professional parashooter.
Beyond the opening ceremonies, it was an incredible day of community outreach. We had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of local youth and community members, sharing our mission of leadership and discipline. We were also thrilled to engage and collaborate with the DEA Washington Field Office and our local first responders, who work tirelessly every day to keep our communities safe.
Seeing our young leaders step up to handle our nation's symbol with respect, while actively building strong ties with our neighbors and law enforcement, was truly inspiring.
Thank you to Youth For Tomorrow for hosting such an incredible event!

"Honoring the past, inspiring the future."
The Manassas Young Marines were deeply privileged to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the veterans of the American Legion Post 10 Manassas to serve as the official Color Guard for the 2026 POW/MIA Ceremony. Watching our youth stand tall next to our nation’s heroes is a powerful reminder that the flame of patriotism, respect, and remembrance burns as brightly as ever.
As our Young Marines carried the colors, they carried a promise: that we will never forget those who were taken prisoner of war, or those who remain missing in action.
Thank you to American Legion Post 10 for your continued guidance, mentorship, and service. Together, we ensure that the legacy of our military heroes lives on through the leaders of tomorrow.
