Manassas Young Marines The Young Marines is a youth education and service program for boys and girls, ages 8 through completion of high school.

To positively impact America's future by providing quality youth development programs for boys and girls that nurtures and develops its members into responsible citizens who enjoy and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members. The program focuses on character building, leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free

lifestyle. The Young Marines is the focal point for the U.S Marine Corps' Youth Drug Demand Reduction efforts.

Three promotions were awarded, including YM/MSgt Camilo Medina, YM/Sgt Olivia Medina, and YM/Sgt Miguel Ramos. We are truly proud to recognize the accomplishments and diligence these young individuals have demonstrated in pursuit of their goals.

The unit was also recognized as the by the Drug Enforcement Administration with the Enrique “Kiki” Camarena Division Award; A notable achievement marking the program's outstanding success.
