Home Health Options Group has earned the highest possible rating. They exceeded all expectations in the care of my parents. Dan, the owner of the company, could not have been more helpful, compassionate, and generous with his time and knowledge. My family was thrust into an emergent situation with both elder-parents and Dan took the time to explain the general landscape of home health care, what we should look for (even if it wasn’t with Home Health Options), and other pertinent elder care topics. We ultimately took the leap and entrusted the care of both parents on their final journey together to Home Health Options Group. Without fail, the Home Health Options team was extremely helpful and collaborative with us and the hospice care team. From Dan, to the nurses, to the daily hands-on caretakers, the respect, compassion, and dignity with which they cared for my parents was off the charts. They were always responsive, always ready to do whatever was needed, and always professional and compassionate. And they always put the needs of my parents first. The women who cared for them 24 hours a day treated them -- and us -- like family. I will never forget them.

Home Health Options provided our mother with an aide for over eight years (ten hours a day seven days a week). They performed a thorough evaluation and created a detailed service plan to promote and maintain her selfcare and to be as independent as possible in her activities of daily living. Mom developed a strong bond with the two primary aides she had during those years. They genuinely liked her and went above and beyond their job responsibilities to ensure an exceptional quality of life through their care, consistency and realistic expectations. The administrator Dan was exceptional to work with and approachable when there were questions or concerns regarding Mother's care. We are currently looking for dedicated, hardworking Caregivers interested in full-time, part-time, and weekend positions in the Fairfax, VA area. Shifts are 8 hrs to 12 hrs (7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p, 7a-7p, 7p-7a). Day and Overnight positions available. Applicants must posses a CNA license, or have a Virginia HHA certificate or Virginia PCA certificate. We pay overtime and consistently staff over 40 hrs/wk for full-time positions. 401k and Health Insurance benefits available for qualified employees. Applicants must be fully vaccinated. During these times, you may be feeling cut off from your loved one. The drop by “check-ins”, to make sure they are doing okay is not able to happen as frequently or in some cases, not at all. You want to monitor their daily activities to make sure they are eating properly, able to maintain appropriate hygiene, to make sure they can get out of the bed and chair safely, just to name a few. Things that you used to keep an eye on regularly, but can’t with the current health crisis.
