Chloe 😻❤️🐾

Her journey continues 🐱🏋️‍♀️⚖️. From fluffy diva to feline fitness queen 😽

Chloe had a spa day on Tuesday 💅💇‍♀️🐾

This sweet girl has been battling a little cold with sniffles, sneezing, and goopy eyes, so the vet came to visit. Chloe received an antibiotic shot, and during her exam the vet decided a Solensia shot and a little trimming session were also in order 😻 The vet also shared that Chloe appears to be older than was first estimated - she estimates Chloe is at least 10 years old (not 5-7 as we previously thought).

But the BEST news came during weigh-in 🙌

Side note…a couple of weeks ago, Chloe’s foster and I wrestled her onto the scale to try to get an estimate of her current weight …while she clearly wanted to avoid the entire process 😂 Raise your hand 🙋🏼‍♀️🐾 if you also suffer from SASS = Scale Avoidance Survival Syndrome 😹⚖️ (a common condition affecting fabulous cats (and humans) who believe scales are rude, unnecessary, and personally offensive😉)

Despite her SASS, on Tuesday, the vet got an accurate weight:

✨ 13.8 pounds ✨

That means Chloe is down almost 3 pounds since arriving at the beginning of 2026 ❤️❤️

She’s still on her health journey, but the difference is incredible. She’s looking better, walking better, moving easier, and overall just feeling so much better. Healthy weight loss takes time, patience, and consistency — and Chloe is proving that slow and steady really does win the race 😻

We are so proud of this beautiful girl 😻😻

Her weight loss journey to supermodel status continues 😻✨

Chloe is feeling better, moving better, and proving that healthy change happens one small step at a time ❤️

Lady Jenica Rose 🌹🐾💜

Grief. Fear. Feeling lost. Abandoned. Confused.

These are not just human emotions.

All living things feel hurt. They don’t want to lose those they love. They resist change. Fear abandonment. Long for safety, comfort, and lasting love.

Lady Jen’s sadness after losing her mom, the home she knew, is palpable.

She is nearly 17 years old and completely domesticated, but she hides in the corner like a kitty who doesn’t know what has happened🥹. We don’t know her full story, but it’s possible she spent 16 years of wake-ups in the same home, same mom, same routine, same security and love … until suddenly, one day, that person was gone.

What does that do to a heart?

Her heart?

Since arriving, Lady Jen has not left “her corner.” She watches quietly, uncertain of what will stay and what may disappear next. She is trying to understand a world that changed in an instant.

Right now, she doesn’t need expectations.

She needs patience.

She needs gentleness.

She needs time to process.
Time to grieve.
Time to heal.
Time to slowly learn that love can still exist after loss.

And slowly she is taking risks. Allowing some pets. She still stays on her first red blanket - and doesn’t want that to be changed. She doesn’t want her new clean bed in the other corner. She doesn’t want anything more to change, and that’s ok.

My prayer is that, in time, she will realize she is safe and loved here too, and each day there are little glimpses that the light is coming back to her eyes…and maybe she’s even trying to believe that this next chapter may be ok 🙏❤️🥰🐾

A huge thank you ❤️🐾❤️

ALL of the vet costs for the kittens’ spay/neuter and hernia repair surgeries were covered by the incredible generosity of our community. We are so grateful for every donation, share, prayer, and word of encouragement. ❤️

We did have a bit of a surprise yesterday. We knew Brady and Larkin had umbilical hernias that needed repair, but during surgery the vet discovered that Quinn had one too! Thankfully, all three kittens had their hernias repaired while they were under anesthesia and are now on the road to recovery.

This sweet little family is now officially available for adoption. ❤️

And if you’re wondering whether we’d love to see them stay together… the answer is a resounding yes. Scarlet is one of the most devoted moms we’ve ever known. To call them bonded would be an understatement. Her babies are her entire world, and she has poured every ounce of love into raising them. 🌎❤️

Our biggest prayer is that the right family will see the beauty of this little ohana and open their hearts to keeping them together.

We will be sharing adoption information very soon, so stay tuned!

Until then, please keep Scarlet, Brady, Larkin, and Quinn in your prayers as they heal and wait for the forever home they deserve. 🙏😻🐾

🙏🐾 One Last Plea for These Three Amazing Kittens 🐾🙏

Tomorrow is surgery day for Larkin, Brady, and Quinn.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have received $100 toward their total surgical estimate of $869. Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared their story. ❤️

That leaves $769 still needed to cover their spay/neuter surgeries, as well as the umbilical hernia repairs that Larkin and Brady require. Brady will also be evaluated for the cause of his ongoing upper respiratory issues.

These three have come so far. This is the final medical hurdle before they can close this chapter and move forward to bright futures.

If you’ve been considering donating, this is your moment. Every dollar helps, and no gift is too small.

Donations can be made directly to Petcalls:

Thank you for standing beside us and helping us give these kittens the care they deserve. We couldn’t do this without our village, and we are grateful for every one of you. ❤️🐾

Three kittens. One surgery day. One community making it possible. 😻🙏

URGENT DONATIONS NEEDED 🐾🙏

Our glass is full.
Our hearts are overflowing.
Our funds are empty.

On June 8, the final three kittens from this sweet little family — Larkin, Brady, and Quinn — will have their spay/neuter surgeries.

In addition, Larkin and Brady both need umbilical hernia repairs, and Brady will be evaluated to help determine the cause of his ongoing upper respiratory issues.

This is the last big step before this entire family is fully vetted and ready for the next chapter of their lives. ❤️🐾

The total estimate for their combined care is $869, and we need your help to get them across the finish line.

Every dollar helps. Every share helps. Every act of kindness helps.

Donations can be made directly to their vet:

Thank you for helping us help them. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful that you are our village people. 😻❤️🐾

Oh sweet Cowboy…

As much as you test the very last bit of my sanity and add more cleanups and fixes to my never-ending to-do list…
you are also the biggest personality, the warmest greeting, and a constant ray of sunshine (mixed with just a little hurricane 🌪️😹).

You fill the hard days with a reminder that there is always something to be thankful for and something to laugh about.

You may be chaos wrapped in fur, but you’re my favorite kind of chaos ❤️

honestly though…you really need a job… but if professional loafer, full-time front door supervisor, self-appointed welcome wagon, and emotional support hurricane paid well, you’d already be employee of the month ❤️

🎓😻 Welcome to The Grace Card Senior Class of 2026!!! 😻🎓

We have some remarkable senior kitties to celebrate 🎉. Through their determination to succeed, perseverance through trials, adjusting their sails through the storms and basking in sunshine afterward, and above all, keeping open hearts always and letting love lead - they are senior catizens 🎓🐾😻

Life doesn’t slow down or wait for anyone. Things can change in a moment. Cats don’t sit around fretting over tomorrow — they just live today, reach for the next goal (or treat in some cases), and stay in the present. So today… live like a cat 😻
For today - what age would you be if you were a cat? Live THAT age!

🐾 Under 40?
You’re 6 or younger in cat years, so go swing on a swing set, build a blanket fort in the living room, and sleep there tonight 😁

🐾 40–55 in human years?
You’re still a kid in cat years — about 7–10 years old! Sit at the kitchen counter with a bowl of Lucky Charms, read the back of the cereal box, stick your arm all the way to the bottom to see if there’s a prize hiding in there… then hop on your bike and ride to a friend’s house to play outside 🚲

🐾 55–70?
Congratulations — you’ve hit the “tween” years in cat life (11–14)! Plan an adventure with friends. Go “take a hike” 😉, plan a movie night 🍿🎥, or do something that reminds you life is meant to be lived.

🐾 70+ years young?
You’ve officially reached 15+ in cat years!!! 🙌🙌 Awesome news — you get a do-over 😹

Sleep late. Eat pizza and ice cream for breakfast. Turn the radio up loud enough to annoy the neighbors. Don’t make your bed. Sneak out tonight, steal the car keys, and climb back through the bedroom window before anyone notices 😁

Cats may have nine lives, but humans only get one. So live the kind of life where you can say:
“My life is better than your vacation.”

Like the saying goes…life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive, well-preserved body…It should be a wild skid in sideways — chocolate in one hand 🍫, wine in the other 🍷, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming: “WOO HOO! What a ride!” 😻

Congratulations to ALL the seniors of 2026 - with 2 legs and 4 legs 🎓❤️👏🍾🥳
