BSA Troop 1372 - Boy and Girl Troops - Manassas Park, VA BSA Troop 1372, chartered by VFW Post 7589, serves youth in the Manassas Park and greater Manassas, VA area. Let's go down the scouting trail together!

If you are (or are a parent of) boys or girls aged 11-18, we would be honored to have you be a part of Troop 1372. The BSA program is a youth-led program where boys and girls can learn leadership skills, learn respect for the environment and each other, build character, learn outdoor skills, and practice fitness and citizenship skills. The Troop enjoys camping, hiking, backpacking, biking, canoein

g, and being immersed in nature. Troop1372 is thriving, growing, learning and most of all having fun doing the 'Outing' part of Scouting. We participate in a number of projects to serve our community, including Adopt a Highway (Signal View Drive), Scouting for Food, Wreaths Across America, and an annual flag retirement ceremony. This Saturday, May 6, in coordination with VFW 7589, our Troops is participating in a flag retirement ceremony. If you are in the Manassas/Manassas Park area and have a flag that needs to be retired with dignity, we would be honored to help you with that. The VFW Post (9304 Centreville Rd.) has a flag collection box between their driveway and building. Or, leave a comment below if you need an alternate way to drop them off!

The Troops ended summer and started the school year with a beach camping trip. We worked on the Oceanography merit badge, swam in the ocean and learned camping techniques for a new environment. This is only the start of our 2022-2023 year! We have many camping trips, some high adventure activities, a ski trip and more planned for this year. We would love to have any teens in the Manassas and Manassas Park area join us!
