Life is a gift.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. It is important that we remember those we’ve lost to a drug overdose, and encourage support and recovery to those who are impacted by substance use and overdose. The overdose that resulted in the death of my brother Parker is the reason Love, Parker came to be. We need to teach our children healthy ways to cope with their daily struggles no matter what life brings, and educate them on drug and alcohol prevention.

Our application is live and can be found on our website to apply for sponsorship from Love, Parker. We will be choosing two children to sponsor in the activity (music or sports) the child chooses for a period of one year beginning in the fall. Application deadline is August 1 and can be submitted by mail or email, the instructions are on the form.

We kicked off Memorial Day Weekend by volunteering at the Spring Lake 5 by passing out water. Such an incredible sight to see! It would be amazing for our Superhero Sprint Flag Day to one day grow as big as that race, it’s truly incredible!! Sign up for the Superhero Sprint by May 25 to ensure a shirt!!
