We are stepping back from the front lines to regroup, restore, and prepare for the time when an army will be needed once again to help feed neighbors in need across Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Hunger is at work 24 x 7 x 365 and affecting every 1 in 8 people. We are working to make our services and our helpful information to be available just as much. So when our volunteers that pick up the phone to answer questions or set up meals are working, sleeping, or spending time with family; our organization can still offer help 24 x 7 x 365!

A Huge THANK YOU from Chef Lou’s Army

Yesterday, we wrapped up our 5th Annual Chef Lou’s Army Golf Outing, and what a day it was. From the first tee off to the final toast, the commitment, generosity, and community spirit were truly inspiring.

Yes, it was hot. So hot the fire dept even came. But every single one of you showed up with heart, grit, and a great sense of humor. You were all true sports, pushing through the heat and playing with the kind of energy that defines this incredible group.

Thank you to all the sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and supporters who made the day such a success. Your presence wasn’t just appreciated; it was impactful.

Because of your support, more families will receive meals. More neighbors will get the help they need. And our mission to serve with dignity, compassion, and consistency will continue to grow.

This event was more than just a fundraiser. It was a reminder of what happens when good people come together for a great cause.

We’re already looking ahead to next year’s outing. And with a little luck, maybe a few clouds.

The chefs fighting hunger with Chef Lou's Army expertly tackle tough issues addressing food insecurity often run into.

Issues like: Severe allergies that limit an already limited food supply, and reaching locations where food assistance programs are unavailable or unreachable.

Thank you Four Seasons Diner and our supporters for these meals, and not letting the issues like those mentioned keep someone from receiving help they need!
