A love letter to Stop & Shop…

Sometimes the places that charge us up are the ones we take for granted.

Westfield, let’s shop and show some love! 🛍️

This Thursday, October 8, join Faherty Westfield for an evening of shopping, drinks and light bites in support of Imagine, a Center for Coping with Loss. 20% of your purchase will benefit Imagine.

A little fall wardrobe refresh with a chance to give back to an organization doing meaningful work in our community? YAY to that!

📍 Faherty, 127 Central Avenue, Westfield
🕔 5–7 PM

♻️ BEFORE YOU PUT THAT COUCH ON THE CURB…

Consider giving it a second life at Furniture Assist in Springfield! 🛋️❤️

This incredible, 100% volunteer-run nonprofit takes gently used furniture and household goods and gets them directly into the homes of New Jersey families who need them—including families moving out of homelessness, escaping domestic violence or rebuilding after other crises.

And the impact is pretty amazing: Furniture Assist helped furnish 1,000+ families last year. 🙌

WHAT CAN YOU DONATE?
🛋️ Couches + loveseats
🪑 Dining tables + chairs
🛏️ Dressers + nightstands
☕ Small coffee + end tables
📚 Small bookcases + student desks
💡 Working lamps
🍽️ Dishes, pots, pans + kitchenware
🔌 Small appliances
🧺 Linens
🧸 Toys + kids’ books
👕 Clothing + shoes
🌿 Patio/outdoor furniture through August 31

📍 Furniture Assist
24 Commerce Street, Springfield
🗓️ Sunday drop-offs: 10 a.m.–2 p.m. (except holiday weekends)

Before you load the car, check their current accepted-items list—there are some restrictions, and they update the site with any special limits for the coming Sunday.

So before you put a perfectly good couch, chair, table or lamp on the curb with a FREE sign, think Furniture Assist. Your old stuff could help make an empty apartment feel like home. ❤️

That’s a wrap on an exciting few days of filming an untitled Paramount horror movie here in Westfield. Anyone spot Sydney Sweeney or Calum Turner?!

This one hurts. What would you like to see replace Stop & Shop when it closes in the Fall 🥲
