Stafford Township Emergency Medical Services

Stafford Township Emergency Medical Services Emergency Medical Services Our organization was formed as the Stafford Township First Aid Squad in 1951. Thank you for your continued support.

Our mission is to serve the emergency medical needs of Stafford Township. The squad responds to the approximately 47 square mile area 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our members are all volunteers who devote countless hours of their time to the community. Between responding to numerous emergency calls, our members are constantly training to acquire the skills necessary to provide superior servi

ce and high level of care the township has come to expect. We wish to thank the residents and governing body of Stafford Township for their generous support throughout the years. As a volunteer organization, we rely heavily on the support of the local community. The squad continues to rely heavily on the donations we receive from the residents of Stafford.

As summer gets underway, Stafford Township and the surrounding shore area become much busier with visitors, seasonal events, nightlife, vacations, and increased rideshare activity.

With the FIFA World Cup here and summer travel in full swing, the Stafford Township Police Department reminds everyone to keep rideshare safety in mind and remember Sami’s Law.

Before getting into any rideshare vehicle, ask, “What’s my name?” and remember S.A.M.I.:

STOP — Plan ahead before requesting a ride and choose a safe pickup location.

ASK — Ask the driver, “What’s my name?” before getting into the vehicle.

MATCH — Match the driver, vehicle make and model, and license plate with the information in the app.

INFORM — Share your trip details with a trusted friend or family member.

If something feels wrong, do not get in the vehicle. Cancel the ride, move to a safe location, and call for help if needed.

Earlier this evening, members of Waretown First Aid Squad, Surf City EMS, and Stafford Township EMS proudly provided EMS coverage for the Southern Regional High School Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony.

With several thousand family members, friends, faculty, and guests in attendance, EMS personnel stood ready to respond should the need arise. The days of covering large-scale events such as this with only one or two ambulances are long gone. Proper planning, staffing, and cooperation between neighboring agencies are essential to ensuring the safety of everyone attending.

We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding partnership we share with our neighboring EMS agencies. Strong working relationships like these are invaluable and allow us to provide the highest level of service to our communities. It was especially fitting to have Waretown First Aid Squad and Surf City EMS alongside us this evening, as many of their residents are proud members of the Southern Regional High School family as well.

Most importantly, congratulations to the Class of 2026! Tonight marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another exciting journey. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and you should all be incredibly proud of your accomplishments. We wish each and every graduate continued success, happiness, and achievement in whatever path lies ahead.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.🚑🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we proudly honor the Stars and Stripes, the symbol of our nation’s freedom, unity, and resilience. As we celebrate Flag Day, let us remember the sacrifices made by the men and women who have defended our country and the values our flag represents.

This year is especially meaningful as we continue to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America. For 250 years, our flag has stood as a beacon of hope, courage, and opportunity.

From all of us at Stafford Township EMS, we wish everyone a safe and patriotic Flag Day. Take a moment today to proudly display your flag and reflect on the freedoms we are fortunate to enjoy every day.

God Bless America! 🇺🇸🚑

STAY OUT OF THE OCEAN - most beaches are still unguarded until next weekend 6/20.

Harvey Cedars Middlesex Ave has a skeleton lifeguard crew.

Last weekend there were multiple swimmer in distress 911 calls on LBI, at least one of those resulted in someone dying. Please stay out of the ocean or be smart and find a guarded beach.
