SATURDAY!!!!

Join the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the Inyo National Forest for the National Trails Day and the start of the 2026 Summer of Stewardship!

Begin your morning with a free breakfast and quick safety talk, then head out to give back to the trails and help make a difference in our community.

NATIONAL TRAILS DAY:
Saturday, June 6
9:00am - 12:00pm

MEETING LOCATION:
Sherwin Meadows Trailhead - 9:00am

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES:
Trailhead beautification, trail maintenance and delineation, landscape restoration, and general cleanup.

WHAT TO WEAR:
Sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and gloves. Tools provided. Volunteers of all ages and abilities welcome.

We are so excited for Single Track Red and Trails Triva!!! Thank you Mammoth Brewing Company!!

Join us on Friday, June 5, for the 4th Annual collaboration with !

We’ll kick things off at 6:00 PM with a special toast to the trails featuring our new Single Track Red Ale, followed by a trail-themed trivia night starting at 6:15 PM.

The following day, in celebration of National Trails Day, will host a 9:00 AM meet-up at the new Sherwin Meadows Trailhead to support and their summer stewardship efforts.

Help us support the trails, promote sustainable outdoor recreation, and trail acces! A portion of proceeds will go to to help with this ongoing mission.

SHADY REST PARK - SUMMER 2026 CLOSURES

Forest health and fuels reduction work is taking place around Mammoth Lakes this season as part of the Eastern Sierra Climate & Communities Resilience Project (ESCCRP).

Shady Rest Park and Sawmill Road will be affected by this work throughout the summer with public closures kicking off June 1, 2026.
