VC #3 is on Thursday, June 25, on Mammoth Mountain, and it’s FREE! We’re racing out of the Chair 4 / Rollercoaster parking lot, riding the same course as last week because it is SO MUCH FUN! Check out the course on our website.

Registration is open now; you must register online to race. Please register now if you’re going to race; it helps to have a headcount for planning purposes. Three distances to choose from: 1-lap FunLap; 2-lap Sport; 3-lap Expert. Check-in begins at 4:45 pm, and the race starts at 5:30 pm. We will have medical support from Mammoth Hospital, nutrition from GU, water for your bottles, beer from Mammoth Brewing, pizza from Giovanni’s, and prizes from local sponsors (Elixir / Roberto’s / Gio’s / Black Tie / Footloose / Bird and the Biscuit / The Eatery / Shelter Distilling / Visit Mammoth / Local Scoop / Specialized and more!). All for FREE! Not racing? We could use you as a Volunteer!

SEMBA Members can compete for prizes and prestige in the VCGP! We will track the Expert Category over the VC Series and assign points for the male and female finishers in each Expert race. The top 5 finishers after VC #5 will receive cool prizes and the title of 2026 VC Grand Prix Champion!

The SEMBA Racing OG Crew has been busy these past two weekends! Congratulations to Gary Taylor and Matthew for taking the third step, and Mike Braun the second step on the podium in their respective races.

Matt took 3rd in his age group in the 107-mile Belgian Waffle Ride gravel race in Cedar City, UT. Gary Taylor took third in his age group in the Belgian Wafer Ride as well. And Mike Braun took second in his age group in the California Dirt MTB Series last weekend in Grass Valley, CA. All these guys will be gunning to take the taller steps in more upcoming races this summer!

Who doesn’t love trail trivia?!

Join us on Friday, June 5, for the 4th Annual collaboration with !

We’ll kick things off at 6:00 PM with a special toast to the trails featuring our new Single Track Red Ale, followed by a trail-themed trivia night starting at 6:15 PM.

The following day, in celebration of National Trails Day, will host a 9:00 AM meet-up at the new Sherwin Meadows Trailhead to support and their summer stewardship efforts.

Help us support the trails, promote sustainable outdoor recreation, and trail acces! A portion of proceeds will go to to help with this ongoing mission.

🚨🚨JUST ADDED! 🚨🚨 We now have a Novice Class of 1 lap (10.3 miles)! The course is still challenging, so this is not a race for beginners. We know there are some junior (okay, and some older) racers who would thrive with just one lap. The Novice Class will be a mass start shortly after the Sport Class, and the course will climb full Big Ring (no road climb!). To further entice you, this class has an introductory lower price point of $50 for adults and $25 for juniors. If you were waffling on racing Sport, this is for you!

Here’s the breakdown of classes:
Novice - 1 lap (10.3 miles)
Sport - 2 laps (20.6 miles)
Expert - 3 laps (30.9 miles)
Singlespeed - 3 laps (30.9 miles)
Pro - 4 laps (41.2 miles)

Sport and Novice Classes start at 7:30 am, and Pros / Expert / Singlespeed wave start at 10:30 am. This relieves the stress and congestion of all classes sharing the singletrack. The course and venue remain the same, and the race experience will be even better!

The weather for this Thursday promises to be miserable! Rain, snow, cold. We want this to be fun, and that doesn't sound fun. So VC Race #1 will be rescheduled to July 30th, and the Village Championships race series will begin with VC Race #2 on Thursday, June 11th on Mammoth Mountain, out of the Chair 4 Rollercoaster parking lot.
