WHAT. A. NIGHT!!! Our inaugural Dancing Stars of Westchester benefit gala was a smashing success, raising more than $80K to fund critical autism research.

THANK YOU to everyone who made this such a fun and meaningful event, including the staff of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios Mamaroneck and the Autism Science Foundation, celebrity judges Teresa Giudice, Louie Ruelas and Tony Dovolani, our INCREDIBLe and talented star dancers and everyone else who worked so hard to make this event so special. We are already looking forward to next year!

Meet Star Dancer Bill Shea!

Bill is a freelance producer, creative director and artist who specializes in making videos and Public Service Announcements for nonprofit organizations. Prior to embarking on his own, Bill was a Madison Avenue executive who spent most of his twenty-five-year career at McCann Erickson, one of the world's leading advertising agencies.

In 2005, Bill left the world of advertising and joined Bob and Suzanne Wright at their startup nonprofit Autism Speaks, where he worked as their creative director for eight years.

Since opening Bsheacreative.com, Bill has produced videos for numerous nonprofits, including the Autism Science Foundation.

Meet star dancer Beth Feldman!

Beth is a veteran entertainment and lifestyle publicist, national parenting influencer and author. She currently serves as a member of the Municipal Arts Commission in New Rochelle and is an executive board member for the New Rochelle Council for the Arts.

Meet Star Dancer Dwight Campbell!

Dwight was raised in a dance culture as a West Indian native from the Spice Island of Grenada.

Dwight has starred in over 30 musicals, dramas and plays, including several Off-Broadway productions. He has been formally trained in ballet and Latin dance by Charlie Scatamachia, Aurora Reyes and more.

Dwight also holds numerous fitness certifications, including Level 2 CrossFit coach, and LA Boxing/UFC Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing instructor.

"As a new dad, I know how important it is to know all the childhood developmental milestones. The Autism Science Foundation shares important information with families so they can track their child’s development and act early if there are any concerns.”

Meet Star Dancer Annette Guarrasi!

Annette is an actor and writer who has created two solo shows: “Never Show the Ugly” and “It Ain’t Pretty." She was a semi-finalist in the New York New Works Theatre Festival and is especially skilled at writing comic character monologues.

"I am dancing for ASF because their scientific research, based in care and clinical research, is holistically helping people with autism."

Meet Star Dancer Enzo Del Brocco!

Enzo is a Passionist missionary currently serving in New York City.

He has a MA in Moral Theology, in Human Resources, a Certification in Catholic Bioethics, and is currently an ABD in Healthcare Ethics at Duquesne University. He has traveled to several countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa giving retreats and conferences. He’s also fluent in six languages (English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Haitian Creole) and loves cooking.

"During my 7 years spent as a missionary in Haiti, I worked closely with children of the NPH Special Needs Program that welcomes and provides services to those who are often rejected by society. In Haiti children with severe disabilities are seen as people to be abandoned as it is deemed a waste of money to do anything with them. Parents are humiliated when they are seen out and about with their kids. It’s not just about providing valuable services to this population but entering into a relationship as friends and discovering the beauty that lies under their vulnerability. They’ve taught me so many lessons and I keep two of them in a special way: 1) The joy of the simple things and 2) To love unconditionally. For this reason, I have accepted to dance for ASF.”

Meet Star Dancer Danielle Ferland!

Danielle is a bona fide Broadway legend who created the role of Little Red Riding Hood in the original Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, for which she won a Theatre World Award and received a Drama Desk nomination.

Her other Broadway credits include All My Sons, A Year With Frog and Toad, The Crucible, A Little Hotel on the Side, A Little Night Music and the original cast of Sunday in the Park with George.

Film and television credits include Tick, Tick...BOOM!, Orange is the New Black, The Normal Heart (HBO), Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, Diane, Mighty Aphrodite, Radio Days and more.

We are so excited to have Isabelle (Izzie) Piwnicki as one of the Stars at our June 18 event! Since she was a child, Isabelle has always had a passion for theater, art, dance and music.

"I'm dancing for ASF because dancing has always been part of my life," she says. "Dancing allows me to not only live but also to be myself with the freedom to be me. I was diagnosed with autism when I was two and a half. The thing I like about the Autism Science Foundation is the support of the staff and the events they have.”
