Friends of the Marine Education Center The mission of the Friends of the Marine Education Center is to build interest in and support for the Marine Education Center in Mamaroneck NY.

The Friends holds all-ages events that highlight the Center’s unique programs, exhibits and raise funds to help the MEC. Our group partners with local businesses and institutions to ensure that our fundraising efforts, combined with the Center’s municipal funds, enable the MEC to acquire the technology, equipment and materials needed to develop a world class environmental education program in our community.
