I wrote this post 6 years ago, so much has changed since then, yet so much still remains the same. I still visit the website, I still ask how many kids and I still get anxious and nervous on the way, praying he does ok or even better has fun! We also have had many more successful parties, including the most important one, my wedding day to my new husband when Mikey gave us the greatest gift and was a superstar and part of the day, but that day did not come without preperation. For months before his teachers and I took Mikey to the venue once a week so he can get use to it, and be comfortable. we practiced walking in with the music on, we did whatever we could to ensure his success, and it was so worth it. There are still some parties we may miss, but we keep pushing ahead and we never give up and we pray the invitations never stop.
