Our Eius priests are gathering in St. Louis this week, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by praying for them!

Eius is a nine-month journey designed to help priests navigate change, lead with confidence, and sustain their ministry in today’s complex pastoral landscape. Through this experience, priests gain new skills and deeper perspectives about themselves, their brother priests, and our Lord.

May God bless the priests of the Eius cohort as they grow in wisdom, leadership, and holiness.

We are happy to have Fr. Bob McLaughlin, priest of the Archdiocese of Newark, now serving full-time as the Senior Director for Priest Service Strategy. He steps into this role with the prayers of so many souls in his former parish at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Fr. Bob has been on the team at CLI for several years as a Leadership Consultant and interim Director for Priest Service Strategy. He will continue to minister directly with brother priests in our Eius priest service for ongoing formation and leadership training.

Did you know that St. Thérèse of Lisieux is the patron saint of missionaries, though the majority of her life was spent in a cloistered convent in France?

We often associate missionary work with traveling to distant places to proclaim the Gospel, yet St. Thérèse reminds us that mission begins with a heart that longs for others to know and love Christ. Through her prayers, sacrifices, and encouragement, she participated deeply in the Church’s work of evangelization without ever leaving the convent, reminding us that wherever God has placed us, each of us can live with a missionary heart.

How is God inviting you to be a missionary in your daily life? 🌹

Now that Dan is in his mid-forties and planning to travel a little less, he thought joining a competitive sport might be just what the doctor ordered... until the soccer team he had his eye on turned out to be a little more exclusive than advertised.

The experience left Dan wondering: "While it’s safe to say I would’ve been disappointing at soccer, am I open to letting others practice and demonstrate their potential before I bar them from even trying out?"

What does soccer have to do with leadership? Find out in this week’s DIAL - LINK IN THE CAPTION 🔗

At Catholic Leadership Institute, we envision a world where every person understands their God-given mission and strives to fulfill it; where Catholic leaders are influential voices in society; and where Jesus’ example of loving, servant leadership is lived boldly.

Few people embody that vision quite like Blessed Fulton J. Sheen.

Today, the Church celebrates the beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, the first American-born bishop to be beatified. Throughout his life, he embraced the most influential media of his day to bring the Gospel into millions of homes and share the truth of Jesus Christ with the wider culture.

His witness reminds us of what can happen when we recognize the gifts God has given us and courageously use them in service of our mission.

Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, pray for us!

Today the Church celebrates Blessed Fulton J. Sheen. Through radio, television, and a life of prayer, he brought the Gospel into millions of homes. Blessed Fulton Sheen, pray for us.
