To all family & friends: The American Legion Auxiliary is having a quarter auction Fri. Aug. 14th, all proceeds will be split between local veterans in need & The Historical Society to help finish the Veteran's Wall in town. Anyone interested in donating a basket to be raffled or items for us to make one, please let me know. Thank you so much!!!!

The Auxiliary would like to thank everyone who attended our Quarter Auction and made it such a success. The response was overwhelming! We could never have achieved this without your support.

Our Memorial Day ceremonies were once again well attended and proceeded well. Thanks to our speaker, SM Thomas McMillan. Special thanks to the band and bugler, the veterans and SAL who marched in the parade, to the honor guard and firing squad. Special thanks also goes to the Patriot Guard members who participated with us this year. Outstanding effort. Hope to see them again.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED THE BARBECUE BENEFIT THIS PAST SATURDAY. Post commander says the benefit for the Boys Scouts and Wounded Warrior Project was very successful.

The next time you see Dick Ferguson, thank him for all his work for veterans and children this past Christmas season. He collected hundreds of dollars in toys for local kids, and even more in items for veterans at Wade Park VA Medical Center. Another job well done, Dick.

Friday Fish Dinners have begun for the year. Open to the public from 5 - 8:00 PM unless sold out earlier. Come join us for fish !!

The next Saturday breakfast will be held in January sometime. There has been some confusion with our first date for breakfast.
