🍝 Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction – We Need Your Help! 🍰

Our upcoming Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction is coming up fast, and this is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year for the Troop.

💡 Funds raised help cover:
• Campouts & awards
• Troop activities
• Future trips like Haliburton Scout Reserve (Canada – 2027) and Philmont (2028)

The more we raise, the less families have to pay out of pocket for these amazing opportunities.

How you can help:

✔ Donate Silent Auction items
✔ Donate towards dinner items or desserts (we need approx. 250)
✔ Volunteer your time during the event

🕓 Dinner service begins at 4:00 PM
📍 Desserts should be dropped off at the school the morning of the dinner so they can be plated.

This truly takes a village!

Happy New Year!!
John will be having the annual adult holiday party this Saturday the 3rd @ 7pm at the Scout Cabin.
Open invite for all adult Scout Volunteers/Supporters- past, present, & future members are all welcome!
Bring quarters with you to join in on the fun!

NEW YORK INFO!!!

We just had a few seats cancel for tonight's bus trip to New York City. If you have any friends/family that may be interested- Call Now!!!
The busses leave Malvern at midnight. Seats are $130 each.

** For those who are attending- parking has been moved around the corner to the First Christian Church parking lot - the previous lot (corner of Reed & Rt 183) is extremely icy and we prefer to make parking simpler and safer for all attendees.**

NEW YORK BUS TRIP!! 🚌🚍
We have officially booked the date for our red eye to NY!!
Buses have been selling out quickly over the years and this year is moving even quicker!! (3 buses in total - 1 sold out already!!) 🤯🫨
Please contact John as soon as possible if you anticipate attending this year's trip.
Your seat is confirmed upon receipt of payment. We cannot hold seats - sorry for any inconvenience that may cause.

New York Bus Trip details:

● Depart 11:50pm Friday Dec 12th
● Arrive in NY Saturday @ 8:00am Dec 13th
● Enjoy your day (approx 12 hours) (You schedule your own itinerary while visiting New York)
● Meet back at drop off point for departure Saturday @ 8:00pm
● Return to Malvern Dec 14th Sunday @ 4:00am

Hello Community!! 👋

Scoutmasters, leaders, volunteers, committee members, Scouts, parents, friends and residents -
We have an upcoming meeting on Sept. 14th @ 6:00pm and we are asking for you all to be there!! Meeting will be held behind the Scout cabin on the corner of Reed St and Rt 43. (If raining, meeting will move to Scout Hall)
We will be providing pizza, water and pop for attendees.
We are looking for assistance in spreading the word for those who may be interested in being a part of our Troop!
Within the Troop, we are seeking, a Scoutmaster, various volunteers, adult leaders capable of heading up monthly campouts, and as always, our door is also open for new scout recruits (ages 10 & up)!
At Sunday's meeting we want to brainstorm ideas for the summer of 2026 camping trip and other activities for the Scouts.
We hope to touch on topics like community involvement, recruitment ideas, volunteer assistance and more!
If you don't feel the scouting part is for you, but still want to volunteer and contribute to the cause, the Malvern Scouting Alumni Association (MSAA) is also accepting volunteers- let us know at the meeting and we'll get you all set up with the details!!
Please join us and bring everyone you know!!
If you can't make the meeting, but are interested in helping in some regard - please, reach out!!
