In a partnership with the Tredyffrin Arts Commission, community members of all ages came out to Lorimer Preserve on a gorgeous spring day to turn simple stones into uplifting works of art—creating one rock to take home and a second to leave along the trails to surprise and inspire fellow visitors.

Paint rocks to spread kindness! Please join us to paint a rock to take and paint one to leave for others to enjoy in one of the Open Land Conservancy preserves in Tredyffrin Township. All rock painting supplies will be provided.

I walk in Lorimer Preserve multiple times a week and have for almost 20 years, but this was a new sight for me today - a mute swan enjoying the pond. 🦢 Unfortunately, this is considered an invasive species, but was still an unexpected surprise. Hopefully he’s just making a quick pit stop!

Yesterday, Airdrie Forest Preserve had a brush fire. Thank you to the multiple fire companies who responded and brought the blaze under control within two hours.
