FairEntry is now OPEN through June 30th!

There will be a $5.00 charge per static exhibit entered after June 30.
No late animal/livestock entries will be accepted - please be thorough when selecting classes and age divisions.

4-H and FFA exhibitors must use FairEntry for ALL:
Livestock
Static
Communications
Clothing
Table Setting

Make sure you go all the way through the FairEntry process for submitting your entries. You will receive a confirmation email once you have completed the process.

Please do not wait until the last minute to complete your entries! If you have any questions or would like help entering your projects stop by or call the Extension Office at 712-624-8616.

**Please note: FairEntry is different than 4hOnline! FairEntry is for ALL PROJECTS to be entered for County Fair!

Introducing our 2026 Summer Assistants! 🀩

On the left, Sydney Norrish, our Horticulture/Master Gardener Coordinator, is taking on some extra duties this summer to help prep for Summer Camps and the Mills County Fair!

On the right, Megan Wells is joining us for the second time! Megan just graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with her bachelor's degree and will be pursuing her master's degree in the fall. Megan grew up in Mills County 4-H and is excited to be back with Mills County Extension this summer after being with us two summers ago!

2026 Pioneer Grant Recipients:
Country Cousins 4-H Club
Silver Creek Go-Getters 4-H Club

America250 IDALS Tree Planting Initiative Recipients:
Loyal Lassies/Ingraham Straight Shooters 4-H Club

Fourteen 4‑H clubs across Iowa have been awarded Pioneer Seed Grants to power new community service projects. Another 20 clubs received America250 Tree Planting Initiative grants to help grow a greener future.

These young leaders are identifying local needs and taking action to make their communities stronger. Proud of the impact they’re creating across the state!
