BEEF INTO SCHOOLS

Phillips County CattleWomen's and RCAN have been working with Malta Schools for a while now on bringing in local, heart healthy beef. With some of the kinks still needing to be worked out, we feel like we are finally getting there.

-Local Ranchers donate the beef
-Malta Public Schools pay for processing
-Local Organizations take care of Transporation
-Kids enjoy locally sourced beef.

Easy as that.

This is our last donor spotlight of the year for our Beef Into Schools program with RCAN. Thank you so much to the 5 producers who donated to the Malta Nutrition Program and to our S**o Public Schools donor for the 2023-24 school year! Our first processing date for the 24-25 school year will be LATE JUNE so watch for advertising soon!!

South Fork Cattle is a forth generation cow/calf operation with some irrigated hay. It's been in operation for over 100 years. It currently is being operated by Troy and LaRae Blunt and Jesse and Teri Blunt.

Hey neighbors!! We are still rolling through the madness. Everyone has been busy with winter and calving. But, we will be having a meeting Monday, April 8th at 5:30. Location to be decided. If you are interested in coming, please let us know in advance.
