Join the Legion. It will be fun they said. You can do as much as you like, Or as little as you want.

And you know what. Its been just that. I am in an active Legion Hall in Malta bend MO. One that gives back to the local community. Via scholarships and donations to school groups in the local area. Time after time. We send numerous Boys and Girls to Boys state and Girls state, We support the American Legion Oratorical Contests, Both local and state.

As well as a local Boy Scouts group. We have a flag retirement ceremony coming up on June 12th. We place flags in cemeteries for Memorial Day, And do a Veterans Day ceremony. On the Square each Veterans Day, As well as provide funeral honors to those we have lost. And so much more. This is what you support. When you attend our Bingo. And its all for a great cause. As many of your family members have been the recipients of these awards, And donations to their school groups.

Our team is second to none. And we do it with Pride. No not everyone in the Legion. Works all of these events. But those who do are a special breed of Legionnaires.

That I am proud to call my fellow veterans and Legionnaires. As well as My friends.

Saturday Night Bingo in Malta Bend is this Saturday. May 30th, Doors open at 2:30.

Early birds start at 4:30 & Regular Bingo starts at 6:30

Chef Mike formally of Misters in Marshal has a special of Chicken strips with all kinds of sauces. With Fries.

After an incredible 32 years of service, we are proud to celebrate the retirement of one of our truly dedicated team members.
Throughout his career, he has been the definition of loyalty, hard work, and versatility—contributing to many roles and making a lasting impact across our organization. From his work in production control to the many capacities he's served in over the years, his commitment and dependability have helped drive our success.
His knowledge, strong work ethic, and positive influence will be greatly missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire all of us.
