Our Story
Dear Fly Anglers, As you may already know, this year's Hendrickson Hatch tournament is planned for the first weekend of June, 6/1 & 6/2. The tournament begins Saturday, June 1 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 2. Registration will take place at North Country Community College between 8:00 and 9:45 AM on Saturday morning. Registration is now open (https://www.hendricksonhatch.com/registration.html). Please visit our website!
This year's tournament price is $70. Children 16 and under are $25. As usual we are planning an evening event for Saturday and a BBQ for Sunday afternoon. Registration fee includes miscellaneous gifts at registration, an invitation to Saturday evening's reception at the American Legion; as well as a pulled pork, hamburger, and hot dog BBQ on Sunday afternoon. Registered anglers will also be entered into a drawing for miscellaneous door prizes on Sunday afternoon. Family members are invited to the BBQ for $10. Kids 12 and under eat free! The proceeds from this tournament continue to focus on the Salmon River fishery, stocking rainbows and brook trout. Additionally, funds are used to purchase fly fishing gear for young anglers as well as to sponsor children to go to DEC camps. The Hendrickson Hatch committee is looking forward to another great tournament like we have had on the past. If you have any questions please feel free to call me or email. Get those flies tied!
