The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) is the world’s largest not-for-profit songwriters trade association. Established in 1967, the membership of more than 5,000 active and professional members spans the United States and seven other countries. NSAI is dedicated to protecting the rights of and serving aspiring and professional songwriters in all genres of music.

Another excellent songwriting workshop with the Malibu Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI)!
While I truly love our in-person meetings, it’s an honor to host online workshops as well—especially when they bring together songwriters who are deeply committed to honing their craft across all genres, including those focused on writing for film, TV, and advertising.

Today we were joined by songwriters from around the world, along with coordinators from several other NSAI chapters. This community truly embodies writers supporting writers, and I’m so grateful to be part of a group that uplifts, connects, and inspires. 🎶✨

It was a magical day in Malibu celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the Malibu Chapter of Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) at our annual Holiday Hits Party hosted at the beautiful Serra Retreat overlooking the ocean!

We heard many wonderful songs and had some exciting special guests including hit songwriters Jeff Silbar ("Wind Beneath My Wings") and Norman Saleet ("Here I Am"), and multiple Grammy Award winner Dale Edward Chung, Emmy award winner Andrew Rollins, superstar DJ Duck The Bass, Grammy nominee , music supervisor , sync licensing representatives, and a fantastic group of writers and artists at all levels!

Special thanks to NSAI Malibu member George Dooley for his generous help with the venue, and to Jean-Pierre Williams and for their valuable help at the event! The sunset was gorgeous and we are truly grateful for this talented group of writers supporting writers!
