Last night, something happened for the first time in MEF history. 🎓

We presented the inaugural $2,500 Malibu Education Foundation Scholarship to a graduating Malibu High School senior — the first scholarship this Foundation has ever awarded.

It went to a student who showed up fully: in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, and for this community. Exactly the kind of well-rounded, Malibu-rooted excellence MEF exists to champion.

This is a beginning.

Our commitment: grow this into a sustained scholarship program that recognizes Malibu students for years to come — bigger, deeper, and built to last.

Malibu shows up for its kids. So do we.

The SMM PTA Council didn’t just show up once — they showed up twice. A gift at the start of the year, and another $6,000 to MEF’s general fund last month.

That kind of sustained partnership is what makes it possible for us to serve Malibu students across academics, arts, and athletics…all year long.

Every time our community participates, we support local businesses and help fund staffing and student programs in our schools.
