The Malibu Optimist Club was thrilled to present our 2023 Optimist Club of Malibu's 2023 College Scholarship recipients with certificates and a check to help them on their way. As in years past, this year's group is very impressive having left a legacy of academic achievement, good sportsmanship, and goodwill on our community! Malibu Optimist Instrumental Music Festival 2023 (Please share with the community)
The Fourth Annual Malibu Optimist Instrumental Music Festival will be
held live and on zoom:

Instrumental music students from Malibu
High and Middle Schools, will perform solos on their instruments for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards in four categories:
Middle School strings (3)
Middle School winds (3)
High School strings (3)
High School winds (3)
The program will feature guest soloists representing last year’s first
place winners. Cash prizes and certificates will be presented to each soloist performing
at the Festival. The judges for the fourth consecutive year are Dr. Gregory Fried and Mr. John McQuilkin, music educators and experienced adjudicators of music festivals throughout the nation.
