Malad Girl Scouts

We have a few local girls sell nuts & candy for Girl Scouts this fall. Free “girl delivery” of nuts and candy for Malad/Oneida County residents ends Wednesday, October 14th. Between October 15th and October 25th nut and candy items can be shipped for a fee. There are also magazines, candles, Tervis tumblers, personalized stationary & frames and Bark Boxes for the dog in your life. These items make great neighbor and hostess gifts for the upcoming holidays. The troops make way more money on these items than cookies and it helps pay for the troops' activities. If you would like to purchase from a local Girl Scout, please find links to their online storefronts in the comments section. Thank you and we appreciate your support.

Malad's Girl Scout program has grown from 16 girls in 2023 to 29 in 2026. In order to be able to continue the program we are in desperate need of leaders.

Each level (Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette) meets for two hours on a Friday, twice a month. We have a third event a month when all the girls meet together, but we usually have other volunteers that can help with that.

Are you ready to inspire the next generation of changemakers? You don’t need prior scouting experience—just a desire to mentor, have fun, and make a lasting impact in your community.

Be the mentor she remembers. Message us for more details.

The new year of Girl Scouts starts in October. Any girls that are interested are welcome to stop by the park next Thursday. There will be an activity for the girls and someone from Council and Malad Girl Scouts to answer questions. We should be set up at the pavilion. If you cannot make it but are interested, please message us or email us at [email protected]
