Not that we need a proclamation to appreciate teachers...But we’ll take it!

Governor Laura Kelly has officially proclaimed May 6th as Teacher Appreciation Day in the state of Kansas...and we’re here for it! 🎉🍎

At Project Teacher, every day is a chance to celebrate educators, but it’s pretty great to have the whole state joining in. So today (and every day), let’s thank the teachers who show up, lift up, and make classrooms feel like home. 💛✏️

We love teaming up with Super Car Guys to honor the hard work of our students! Aniya from Val Jackson Elementary was the Super Car Kid of the month (February)! We celebrated her with a pizza party and a gift card for all of her hard work. Congratulations Aniya!!

We teamed up with Super Car Guys to surprise Olivia Burbach, 4th Grade Teacher at Lawrence Elementary with a class pizza party and gift card. Burbach was the Super Car Staff Member of the month. Congrats to her on all her hard work!

We were excited to take part in one of our new partner's, Griffith Elementary, literacy night a few weeks ago. Students got to read to dogs, partake in black light activities, and so much more!

One of Benton Elementary - USD 259’s goals is to help enhance the their overall culture by creating a sense of pride and belonging. To do this, they needed extra clothes for students in need. Central Community Church, one of Benton’s partners, provided them with extra clothes…and then some! Isn’t it beautiful to see the community connect to the classroom?! ❤️❤️

We are so grateful for the partnership we've developed withCentral Christian Church-Wichita. This beautiful spread was brought to the Val Jackson Elementary staff meeting this week. The staff felt the love! Amazing things happen when we love schools (see what we did there?? 😆). Thank you Central Christian for loving Jackson!
