Join us for a hands-on in-person Open House full of pattern-hunting and problem-solving! 🎉

🃏 SET — the classic pattern-matching card game where students race to spot three cards that all match or all differ across color, shape, number, and shading.

🧊 The SET Hypercube — we’ll go a level deeper, exploring the 4-dimensional structure hiding behind the game. The 81 SET cards actually form a mathematical “hypercube” (a 3×3×3×3 lattice), and we’ll build a physical, layered model to see it — a great way to connect a fun card game to real combinatorics.

➕ Problem Solving with Da’ron— join us for Da’ron’s last in-person session before he heads back to Caltech for the school year!

Schedule:

• 10:00–11:00am — Student Volunteer Leadership (event/project planning)
• 11:30am–1pm SET and hyper cube, games
• 1:00–2:30pm — Problem Solving with Da’ron

Free for members | $40 for nonmembers (covers both SET and Problem Solving)

Looking for something fun and educational to do with the kids today? Join Orlando Math Circle for an afternoon of games, puzzles, hands-on activities, problem solving, and—of course—MATH! 🧩➕🎲

Orlando Math Circle’s Family Math Festival is happening this Saturday — and every kid (and grown-up!) who walks in the door as a participant is already taking their first step on our Facilitator Pathway to grow the Florida Math Circle Network.

Play a game. Solve a puzzle. Build with tiles. That’s it — you’re on the pats to bring joyful mathematics into our community. From there, our students practice, earn badges, and grow into certified math facilitators who go back
out into the community to run games, puzzles, and math nights of their own.

Come play. Leave inspired. Leave a future math leader of community mathematics for all.

This video features Prottle (Problems Battle) — our own OMC-created math game with lots of problem solving and side quests!
