The stories behind the mission.

How would you describe your mission trip with Agua Viva Serves in just ONE word?

Fulfilling. Blessed. Impactful. Inspiring. Amazing.

Every volunteer has a different story, but each one brings a unique perspective on what it means to serve others.

And this is just the beginning!

In the coming videos, we'll take you behind the scenes to discover the stories behind each mission trip: how our volunteers found AVS, how they prepared for the journey, the fears they faced before their first mission trip, and what it really takes to step out of your comfort zone and serve others.

Because a mission trip is about more than where you go. It's about the people you meet, the lives you touch, and the ways you grow along the way.

Follow along as we share the stories behind the mission.

This week we celebrated an important milestone in the community of Isla Chica

After a period of working together, the water system is now fully managed and operated by the local community, through its water committee.

At Agua Viva, we believe in walking alongside communities as they build sustainable solutions, and this is a great example of that process: organization, learning, and local leadership.
We remain available to provide technical support when needed, while celebrating this achievement with them.

Water changes lives, but it is the community that makes it sustainable.
