The 10-year anniversary Gala to recognize our 10 years of community service since 2016 was a nonstop party held on 5/14/26 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern. We ate, danced and partied for hours with all our AFA friends and families at our largest party EVER!

This gala event could not have been possible without the support of our Mayor, Council and Administration as well as all the dedicated staff from Access for All – Mahwah. In addition, TU to all the families and friends that have supported us over the last decade including the 250 of you in attendance!

TU to DJ Scott Rubin and Albert for keeping us dancing and making memories in the photo booth! TU Mahwah Cert for helping to ensure our safety.

Happy 10th Anniversary!

May 25, 2016, was an important day as 10 years ago, Access for All Mahwah was officially born, approved and started as a commission in Mahwah.

Our Mission:
Access for All provides Mahwah and surrounding town's residents of every age (children, adults and seniors), a dedicated and community focused commission to serve those with special needs, development disabilities, and physical access needs so they can participate, to the fullest extent possible in everyday activities in the Community.

Access for All Mahwah has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years. We went from holding an event every few months to holding multiple events per month that are now SOLD out due to capacity.

We could not have grown without the support of the Mahwah mayor, council, administration, private and corporate donations and the army of VOLUNTEERS that assist us to help run our events all while keeping our events FREE.

We never ASK for financial support, but we always get ASKED how can one help?

We are ASKING in honor of our 10 years of service to the community, please consider making a donation to Access for All Mahwah in the form of a check for $10, $20, $110 or whatever you would consider donating would be greatly appreciated.

This year we on target to hold over 30+ free events in one year for the first time!

Attached is a photo of our original 2016 commission and current 2026 commission which we are proud to recognize that 3 of our 12 members have been with us since Day 1!

Happy Memorial Day From Access For All

Important: Memorial Day Parade is canceled so AFA is not marching. There is indoor ceremony below if anyone is interested in attending.

🇺🇸 Important Update 🇺🇸

Due to the rain forecast for Monday, May 25th, we have decided to cancel the parade ☔

The memorial service will now be held at the Mahwah Senior Center and will begin at 10:00 AM 🕙

We invite all members of our community to join us as we honor our brave men and women ❤️
