Not the result we wanted, but we finished 2-1 on the weekend at A-Game | Delaware (8th grade division), eliminated in the semifinal. Very proud of how much these guys have developed, the grind continues.

Got some good run versus NY Gauchos and others in Brooklyn, NY. Some “losses” are better than certain “wins”,
growth doesn’t come from being comfortable. We don’t play scoreboards, we play development. 🐺🏀

🐺Undefeated Leader of The Game Honors🐺

Game 1: Isaac Lopez - Isaac earned his shine by rebounding, hustling on defense, looking for high percentage baskets in the paint, and being a selfless teammate.

Game 2: Ezeckiel Roble - Scored 25 points, never took a play off on defense or on rebounding. Zeke showed great composure and court vision, finding open teammates and knowing when to be aggressive for scores.

Introducing the UNDEFEATED “Leader Of The Game” chain. Created to honor the most valuable player on UNDEFEATED days. This chain isn’t going to the highest scorer or one of the more talented players every game, it’s going to the player who was a difference maker in aspects which many players struggle with: SPORTSMANSHIP, COMMUNICATION, SELFLESSNESS, BEING COACHABLE, DEFENSIVE EFFORT, REBOUNDING EFFORT, HUSTLE PLAYS, etc.
This isn’t just a single player award, it awards players for contributing to WINNING, and will only be awarded on UNDEFEATED days only. This is our way of recognizing players who want to achieve greatness and do whatever it takes to contribute to WINNING.

12u has something to say this season. (2-0) undefeated champions on the day 🏆 at Ramapo College. This group is very mature for their age and are extremely coachable, there is plenty of room for growth. 🐺🏀
Most valuable player award went to Raul Vazquez today. Raul was a difference maker when the team needed a defensive spark in the championship game.

8th Grade/14U came out as undefeated champions 🏆 (2-0) in their first tournament of the Spring. The boys showed a lot of resiliency in a hard fought battle for the chip. Great teamwork, positive energy, and composure by executing
in-game adjustments during crucial moments.
