Kirk Lake Watershed Association Kirk Lake Watershed Association's mission is to protect and improve the natural environment throughout the Kirk Lake Watershed.

KLWA is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation run entirely by volunteers. It's central goals are scientific research, education, watershed management projects in the interests of a healthier watershed.

It's spooky season and nothing is scarier than a backed up septic tank!

Fall home checklist: gutters, heat, and… your septic system. If you don’t know when your system was last inspected or pumped, now is a good time to find your records and speak with a qualified local professional. Caring for a septic system helps protect your property and the water around it.

CWC has financial resources available for eligible watershed property owners for maintenance costs and qualifying repair or replacement projects.

Water Testing.
KLWA coordinates with the New York State Federation of Lake Associations, Inc. (NYSFOLA) and NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to perform monthly water testing throughout the summer. Round 1 completed.
